BUA: Borrow Your Outdoor Gear for Free in Oppdal
BUA is a national non-profit organization designed to make it easier for children and young people to try a wider variety of activities without increasing consumption. At BUA, you can borrow most types of sports and recreational equipment, completely free of charge.
Now, you can get everything you need for your vacation without overloading your car. Simply place an order for the equipment you need on BUA’s website, specifying the activity, and BUA will handle the rest. The gear available for borrowing is at most 5 years old and is regularly serviced and checked. Most of the equipment is sponsored by Oppdal’s sports shops.
It's often better to borrow than to buy gear that you rarely use. At BUA Oppdal, you can borrow everything from bikes and hiking boots in the snow-free seasons to skis and snowboards in the winter. You can arrive in Oppdal with just a daypack, and after a quick visit to BUA, you'll have everything you need to enjoy all the fantastic activities that Oppdal has to offer!
