Dale Maskin

Dale Maskin AS is a well-established excavation and construction company based on the family farm Vekve in Oppdal. The business began as a sole proprietorship under the name AE Dale in 1996 and was restructured as a limited company in 2004. Today, the company has seven full-time employees and additional seasonal workers, and offers a broad range of services within excavation, groundwork, and transport.

Their services include site preparation, drainage, water and sewage systems, mass transport, grading, road construction, and gravel delivery – for private clients, businesses, and the public sector. Dale Maskin is particularly known for its craftsmanship in building slate and natural stone walls, a specialty rooted in the local building tradition.

During the winter season, the company handles snow clearing and is responsible for grooming the main cross-country ski trail network in Oppdal. With a modern fleet of machines, deep local knowledge, and a strong focus on reliable execution, Dale Maskin is a trusted partner for both small and large-scale projects.

The company is a member of the Norwegian Contractors Association (MEF), holds central approval in relevant classes, and has certified ADK expertise. Dale Maskin is also an approved apprenticeship company in machine operation, working closely with OKAB – the Training Office for Construction and Mining – to provide practical training and prepare apprentices for their final trade exams.
