Drivdalen Sports Club prepares ski tracks in its local area and into Vinstradalen. Drivdalen IL also has a recently renovated lit trail. The total trail network spans 9 km.
The lit trail of Drivdalen Sports Club has a beautiful location in the pine forest by the Driva river, in a popular hiking area that is widely used both in summer and winter. The lit trail starts at Skoresbrua and loops south through the forest to Rishaugen. For the very young, it is possible to take the "lillerunden" (small loop) of about 500 meters or the "mellomrunden" (medium loop) of about 800 meters. If you want a longer hike, you can continue along the ski trail between Skoresbrua and Gottemsbrua – this is a circular route of about 4 km.
Drivdalen Sports Club also sets ski tracks along Vinstradalsveien when conditions allow. Ski tracks are made up to Brustølen, where Drivdalen Sports Club has one of its fitness stations. Except for a few steep hills, the trail mostly has gentle ascents, making it easy to walk into Vinstradalen. Follow the same trail back; the return journey is mostly downhill and goes quickly!
Vinstradalen and Loe Outland District Association have set up name signs at all the mountain farms and other cultural heritage sites further up the valley.
