Ice Fishing Competition at Gåvålivatnet
Maundy Thursday from 12:00–14:00. Registration and purchase of fishing holes from 11:00.
Many great prizes. Awards for the biggest fish, largest catch, and smallest fish.
Raffle prizes will be drawn among all participants. Everyone who has purchased a fishing hole will be entered into a draw to win an Intersport gift card worth NOK 3,000.
Maggots/worms and ice fishing lures will be available for sale at the starting area.
There is approximately a 2 km ski trip from the parking areas along the E6 at Grønbakken.
The ice fishing competition has been held on Maundy Thursday since 1989. The event is weather-dependent, so the organizer is hoping for good conditions.
