Jul i svingen – Det Gode Teateret

"Jul i Svingen" is a beloved Christmas tradition, now brought to life on stage with all the familiar characters. A heartwarming experience for the whole family.

Det Gode Teateret will tour Central Norway with the Christmas performance and family favorite “Jul i Svingen” in the 2026 pre-Christmas season.

Over the past two years, Det Gode Teateret has performed across Central Norway. Notable productions include “Jul i Blåfjell,” “Jul på Månetoppen,” “Jungelboken,” “Olsenbanden jr. på Cirkus,” and “Brødrene Løvehjerte.”

Now this family Christmas joy comes to stages in Central Norway. Jul i Svingen was first shown as a Christmas calendar on NRK in 2006 and quickly became a national favorite. Finally, we can delight Central Norwegian audiences with Jul i Svingen as musical theatre!

The show is suitable for the whole family, ages 3–100.

Duration: approx. 2 hours including intermission.

PREMIERE: December 14, 2026.

On tour across Central Norway in November and December 2026.
