Orstadhaugen farm

Ørstadhaugen Farm is a farm idyllically located in Båggåstronda at about 650 meters above sea level.

At Ørstadhaugen there is vibrant animal life with dairy cows, hens, quails, horses, rabbits, dogs, and cats. During the summer months, the farm is also home to summer pigs and bottle-fed lambs that graze freely and enjoy outdoor life before being slaughtered in the autumn.

In addition to the animals, the farm has established a market garden where vegetables are produced and sold directly from the farm to consumers. The market garden is run according to strict organic principles, without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilizers. All work is done by hand, ensuring that the vegetables grow in fresh and living soil, rich in microorganisms and nutrients that give the vegetables a full and natural flavor.
