Children’s Storytelling with Endre Skjåk at the Sælehus by the Norwegian Wild Reindeer Centre at Hjerkinn
DOVRE TROLLS AND THE BATTLE FOR THE THRONE
A storytelling session for children featuring fairy tales and legends.
Do you know why we no longer see trolls on the Dovrefjell mountains today?
Did you know that King Harald Fairhair grew up in Dovrefjell?
Did you know that polar bears once lived in Dovrefjell?
You can hear more about this when we gather around the campfire in the Sælehus at the Wild Reindeer Centre at Hjerkinn. Endre Skjåk shares fairy tales and legends connected to Dovrefjell, inspired by how travellers crossing the mountains may have told stories 1,000 years ago during the time of King Eystein.
Suitable for adults and children from 4 years old.
Free admission
Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
