The gallery at Oppdal Kulturhus

A vibrant art space in the heart of Oppdal

The gallery at Oppdal Kulturhus is a bright and accessible exhibition space located on the ground floor, with an open entrance facing the foyer. It is open daily during the café’s opening hours, and admission is free for all visitors.

With its 6 x 16 meters and approximately 36 meters of white-painted wall surfaces, the gallery offers space for both large and small exhibitions. The lighting is flexible, with 32 ceiling lights and 12 dimmable spotlights, allowing for customized lighting for different forms of art.

Throughout the year, a varied program of changing exhibitions is presented, including paintings, photography, historical images, and themed exhibitions. The gallery also forms a natural part of the foyer and is used for serving larger groups. A lunch in the gallery offers a wonderful experience in an inspiring environment.

The gallery is part of Oppdal Kulturhus, which also houses a library, cinema, cultural school, youth club, and Oppdal Museum. This creates a vibrant and diverse cultural environment in the center of Oppdal.
